Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

As I Understand the Photosmart scan software is flagged by an anti-malware program,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Do you have the latest version of the anti-malware program?

Did you know that such issues are normally referred to the anti-malware program manufacturer? (As they've blocked the HP software and have to provide an answer/information about the same).

Have you looked for similar responses on the internet as they seem to be working on a fix in one of their websites as it's a known issue?

While you respond to that, I need to inform you that HP doesn't recommend using unknown anti-malware detectors as some of them could be fake,

I suggest using genuine Anti-malware programs such as Norton, Mcafee or the windows defender (free) from Microsoft.

Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,

It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.
