I purchased this product 6 months back but have failed to install it and run it properly.Called experts to work on it but still not done.I have sucessfully installed the driver from web side but when i give print commant initially the printer says ready but when print command given it waits for 1 minute and gives an error. Done everything, restarted spooler ,reinstalled the driver ,changed usb, changed power cable. Someone said its a power error because we have a 3 phase supply but all went in vain. Hi @MUKUL17,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with your printer that has an error.

Are you able to make a copy on the printer standalone? (Place an original document on the scanner glass and make a copy to confirm hardware is working fine)

To understand the issue and help you, please share the details listed below:

- Is the error message on the control panel or on the printer application?

- May I know which application are you using to print?

- When was the last time your printer was working fine?

- Were there any changes made to your printer recently?

- May I know which devices are you using to print eg: Windows PC, Mac, or Smartphone (Android or iPhone)?

Note: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Take care and have a great day ahead!

Hi @Irwin6 thanks for your reply.

The Error is in control panel.

I am facing this problem since the day I bought it in January.

I am using Windows 10 Pro .

I am using the official driver software from HP website to print it.

The  Photocopier is working just fine.

I have been trying to install it since then whenever i get time but no use.

Kindly suggest.

Once I sucessfully installed it but it used to restart priting again and again so Some one pointed me that it could be Power fluctuation .Suppose i need to print 5 pages. It would print till 3 page and then again start printing from 1 and on and on so i had to cancel print and reinstall it.

Hi @MUKUL17,

Thank you for sharing the above information.

Please follow the steps below to connect your printer to the network again.

1) Uninstall the HP smart app by click on this link, Restart the computer or mobile device to clear possible error conditions.

2) Enable Wi-Fi setup mode: When you turn on your printer for the first time, it is temporarily placed in Wi-Fi setup mode so that it can be discovered during setup. Use the printer control panel to restore Wi-Fi setup mode, and then set up the printer again. Go to Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer for more information.

3) Refer to this link to use the HP smart app on your phone/tablet/PC to add a printer.

Note: Enable Bluetooth for an HP Smart app setup: Enable Bluetooth on your computer or mobile device so that HP Smart can detect the printer during the setup.
