HP Printers - 'Encryption Credentials Expired' Error Displays (macOS, iOS)

I AM LOOKING FOR A WAY TO RESET PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED USER PASSWORDS SO THAT I CAN USE THIS PRINTER WITHOUT USING A PASSWORD. I WOULD ALSO LIKE OTHER MEMBERS OF THE OFFICE TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS PRINTER WITHOUT NEEDING A PASSWORD.

Cannot state for sure. But had a similar issue recently and it required me Togo into the embedded web server of the printer and create a new self signed SSL certificate.

When does it prompt for a password? Typically only the administration menus would be locked. The easiest method is to go into the preboot menu and perform a partial clean from the administration menu or a cold reset from the startup options menu.

1. Turn the printer ON.

2. Press the “X” button or middle of the Touch Screen when you see the “1/8” under the HP logo.

3. Press the Down arrow to highlight Administrator, and then press OK.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP; BUT THE PROBLEM WAS NOT SOLVED. I STILL CANNOT PRINT .

WHEN I TRY TO PRINT I GET A MESSAGE ON MY MAC COMPUTER PRINTER WINDOW SAYING "ENCRYPTION CREDENTIALS HAVE EXPIRED".

I HOPE THERE IS SOME WAY TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE.

PRINTER HAS PREVIOUS USER PASSWORDS WHICH WIL NOT ALLOW ME TO USE THE PRINTER.
