I'd like to help!
I understand the printer is in an idle mode.
To assist better -
- May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
- What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android, or an iPhone?
- How is the printer connected to the device USB or wireless?

Well, after some more time noodling around with it I got them to work!! Don't ask me what I did. When I first called HP they told me both my printers were obsolete I have a 3055 LaserJet, and an HP 8100. I told the women how is this possible to have both printers obsolete? She told me it's due to my operating system MAC Os Monterey. Not good information.
But anyway, thanks very much for the offer to help!
