Thank you for explaining the issue. If your HP DeskJet GT 5810 has the software installed but is not receiving print requests, it usually means there’s a connection or driver communication problem. Let’s fix this step by step:

 

Step 1: Check Printer Connection

  • USB Connection: 
    • Ensure the cable is firmly connected to both the printer and PC.
    • Try a different USB port on your computer.
  • Network Connection (if using Wi-Fi): 
    • Confirm the printer is connected to the same network as your PC.

 

Step 2: Set Printer as Default

  • Press Windows + I → Bluetooth & Devices → Printers & Scanners.
  • Select your HP DeskJet GT 5810 → Click Set as Default.

 

Step 3: Restart Print Spooler Service

  1. Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
  2. Find Print Spooler, right-click → Restart.

 

Step 4: Reinstall Printer Driver

 

Step 5: Use HP App
