HP LaserJet Pro M404dn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an issue with a new HP404dn just installed and I'm using Windows 10. When I print a document in black & white, the printed page has a light shade of gray on the background of the page.

I am using original toner cartridge, which came with the printer. I have tried to print with another new HP toner cartridge still got light shade of gray on the background

Please help to solve this issue.

If you print any report from the control panel of the printer such as the usage report, does that have the same shading? If yes you have an issue with the printer, if not you have an issue with either the software or driver you are printing with.
