Hi - I am trying to install drivers for the Pagewide Pro 477dw printer on a Windows 11 Pro ARM64 Laptop.  Microsoft installs default drivers - but this doesn't provide duplex or colour printing.  If I update the driver to the HP Smart Universal - this gives options for colour and duplex - but when a print job is submitted, the queue shows the job spooling and then it gets deleted - no jobs are printed.  If I set up a new printer using the Universal Drivers, then the same thing happens - nothing is printed.

 

Does anyone have any ideas on why jobs are getting deleted without printing?

I have the exact same issue.  2 new ARM laptops trying to print to my 477DW.  Loading the drivers is a fail.

So I managed to sort it for those that have the same issue.  Remove the ability for Windows to manage the Printers (this was the crucial step).  Remove all drivers from the OS and ensure no configuration is available (I turned off my printer for this).  Reboot and ensure that there are no printer drivers AND Windows is not managing the printers.

 

Turn on the printer and let it find the device drivers.  I now have the ability to print doubled sided and in colour again.
