Paper Size Mismatch

As a Mobile Notary I receive pdf documents with both letter and legal sized pages.  I have both trays installed, and the printer identifies and prints from the proper tray.  HOWEVER, when the print job switches between letter and legal sized documents, the printer is always ONE page behind in making the switch.  Example:  Printing several pages in letter size, then switching to legal size, the FIRST legal size page prints on letter size paper.  Then when switching back to letter size, the FIRST letter size page prints on legal size paper.  How can I fix it?  I uploaded the most recent software driver, and it continues to do the same thing.

Follow the steps below to isolate and resolve the issue-

Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Also, we can try using built-in windows drivers. Here is how do it-

•    Go to Control Panel - Devices and printers - Click on "Add printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.

•    When the page prompts for the drivers, select "Windows update". The driver list will be updated.

•    Click HP, Hewlett Packard, or Hewlett-Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printers pane.
