HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have seen several posts on here for the issue that I have.  I need factory reset directions for my printer.  The person who used before me set up the printer with a password at the beginning of the menus and I cannot access anything and there is no password information to be found.   I need to be able to reset the printer so that it does not have a password to operate the different settings that are available.

Can anyone help me please

Thanks in advance

Laura

I see that you want to reset the password for your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw.

Please follow the steps on page 144 of this user guide to restore the unit to factory defaults.

Let me know if this works.
