How do I send my paper scan to a email?

If you're using the HP App on Windows 11:

Open the HP App

• Click Start, search for HP, and open the HP App.
• Select your printer from the home screen.

Start a Scan

• Click Scan > Camera Scan or Scanner Glass depending on your setup.
• Choose Document as the scan type.
• Adjust settings like resolution, color, and file type (PDF is best for email).
• Click Scan.

Save the Scan

• After scanning, click Save and choose a location on your PC.

Send via Email

• Open your email client (e.g., Outlook, Gmail).
• Compose a new email and attach the scanned file.
• Enter the recipient’s email address and send.

 

If you're using the HP App on Android or iOS:

Open the HP App

• Download from Google Play or Apple App Store.
• Connect your printer and mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network.

Scan the Document

• Tap your printer > Scan.
• Choose Document Feeder or Scanner Glass.
• Tap Scan and preview the result.

Share via Email

• Tap Share or Send.
• Choose Email from the sharing options.
• Your default email app will open with the scan attached.
• Enter the recipient’s address and send.
