Photo smart 8750 Software for Printer

I just bought the photosmart 8750 printer off of ebay. It sounded like an excellent printer. I knew it was older but I didn't know that it was really old. I found out that you have to have an older version of windows to install the ssoftware but you could still use it with the latest windows. I was able to get my computer to recognize it when I directly connected it with a usb but I can't do anything with the control panel on the printer. It looks like from what I read in the manual it has to be installed from the disk that came with it. Is there any work around for this? I want to use it on the network or wireless also but it looks like that has to be installed also.

I am also having an issue with the colors not printing right. It is really faded and strange looking. They are not vivid or colorful.

If there can't be much done or it is going to require too much work then I will return it. I would rather try to get it solved since I have to pay for the return. Thank you.

You can download the software for the HP Photosmart 8750 printer from the HP website. Here are the steps.

• Go to the HP Support website (https://support.hp.com/).
• Type "HP Photosmart 8750" in the search box and press Enter.
• Click on "Software, Drivers and Firmware" from the search results.
• Select your operating system from the dropdown menu and click on "Change".
• Click on the "Download" button next to "HP Photosmart Printer Software and Driver".
• Save the downloaded file to your computer.
• Once the download is complete, double-click the downloaded file to begin the installation process.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of the software. Once installed, you should be able to use your HP Photosmart 8750 printer with your computer.
