Photosmart 245 files for a Mac

Hi, I need the files for my Photosmart 245 to work on a Mac Ventura v 13.7.1. Do you know where I can find the install files? I did an internet search, and all that I have found does not work.

​The HP Photosmart 245 is an older printer model, and has reached end of support life. 

However, you can try the following steps to set up your printer:​
 

Use macOS Built-in Drivers: macOS includes a range of built-in printer drivers. Connect your Photosmart 245 to your Mac via USB, and macOS may automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Use Generic Drivers: If the above methods don't work, you can try using a generic printer driver:​

1. Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.​
2. Click the + button to add a new printer.​
3. Select your Photosmart 245 from the list of available printers.​
4. In the Use dropdown menu, choose Generic PCL Printer or Generic PostScript Printer.​
5. Click Add to complete the setup.

AirPrint is a built-in printing solution for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. You can print from most apps that have a print feature.
