HP photosmart 7520
macOS 10.14 Mojave

The printer suddenly started showing the message " There is  problem with the printer. Turn the printer off, then on".  all lights are flashing.  when I turn off normally, it automatically reboots and has the same message.  There is a blue screen with the code  B8BD3428 that flashes briefly before the messages come up.

I have tried all the restart techniques recommended.  fully unplugging power cable and letting it sit for more than 10 mins.  I remove and reinstalled the ink cartridges.

the printer is on a WiFi network.  I cannot do anything when this messes comes on other than restart.

thanks for any suggestions
