Photosmart B8550 Print Driver

Hello

In the old days one could download a driver and install a printer. 

I have a driver download for print B8550 however I am taken to 'get installer' then into 'scan doctor' and those processes fail to do anything to putting into the machine the driver needed to print using the Photosmart B8550 ink jet printer.

All I need is the driver to install the printer. I ask because following all the steps via HP installation is not working.

This is a product that really does not have a current driver.

Try the procedure below to install the standard Windows driver:

Hello

Following the instructions to install via Microsoft the driver for printer HP Photosmart B8550 the result was driver was unavailable and to think the this printer came with a install cd - and that I cannot locate. What's to do if Microsoft is unable to produce the driver? The must be a solution for this current event.

Hello @Meherabode 

Yes, I understand. But this CD is old and will not install on the most current system.

It finds the printer there, from what I saw, but it will install the basic driver anyway.
