Example: Pavilion 65XXPhotosmart Plus B209
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Installed new ORBI router and satellite. Excellent coverage but my printer requires WPS hookup. WPS install fails every time. I've attached the printer to my iMac via USB and installed latest driver but there is no option that allows me to configure wifi when I open the printer utility. Wireless setup does not appear and the All Settings icon is greyed out. I must be doing something wrong  but I can't figure it out. I followed the steps described here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/Wirless-Setup-does-not-appear-in-HP-Utility...

Any help will be appreciated!!

Hi @simdoc1

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network > Restore network defaults > Yes

Go to Wifi protected > Push method

  1. Turn on the printer. If the printer is in sleep mode, press the Cancel button on the control panel.

  2. On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless button for at least 3 seconds or until the wireless light starts to flash.

  3. On the router, press and hold the WPS button for 3 to 5 seconds or until it shows that the WPS connection process has started.

  4. Once the printer connects to the wireless network, the blue Wireless light on the control panel turns on solid.

Alternatively, make sure the printer driver from the HP Support site has been installed on the PC.

Click here to download the driver. Try to open the printer utility and check for wireless setup.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
