How do I find my pin number for my printer?

Hi @Tim636,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The HP Deskjet 2652 All-In-One Printer typically doesn't have a PIN number associated with it. However, if you are trying to connect your printer to a wireless network, you might be asked for the WEP or WPA key for your Wi-Fi network during the setup process.

Here are the general steps to find your Wi-Fi network key.

  • Check your router: Look on your Wi-Fi router for a sticker that contains the network name (SSID) and the network key (password). The network key is often labeled as WPA key, WEP key, or passphrase.
  • Access router settings: You can access your router's settings through a web browser. Enter the router's IP address in the browser's address bar and log in with the administrator credentials. Once logged in, you can find the wireless security settings and the network key.
  • Consult your internet service provider (ISP): If you can't find the network key on the router, contact your internet service provider. They should be able to provide you with the necessary information.
  • Windows or Mac computer: If your computer is already connected to the Wi-Fi network, you may be able to find the network key in the network settings. On Windows, you can check in the Network and Sharing Center, and on a Mac, you can find it in the Network preferences.

Remember that the printer itself doesn't have a PIN number unless it's part of a feature like Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), and not all printers have this feature. If your printer is prompting for a PIN during setup, it's possible it's related to a different security feature or network configuration.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
