Where do I plug in the power cord on the printer.    Not seeing where on the back it goes

Hi @viddler_emp

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Before I guide you on where the power cord connects, I’d like to understand a bit more about your printer so I can be precise.

  • Which printer model are you working with (for example, HP DeskJet 2700, HP LaserJet Pro, etc.)?
  • Is it a home/office inkjet or a larger laser printer?
  • When you look at the back, do you see any recessed ports or a removable panel?

Different models place the power socket in slightly different spots — some on the lower left or right at the back, others tucked under a flap. Once I know your exact printer type, I can point you to the right location without guesswork.

Can you share the model name or number printed on the front or near the cartridge access area?

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
