HP Smart Tank 515 Wireless All-in-One

After buying a new PC with windows 11, i have poor printing quality issues. The colors are no longer "vibrant" and it also prints in super slow speed.
In my older pc with windows 7, the print was ok.  I also print the same files from Macbook pro and they are super
I've tried reinstalling the dirvers but still the same.
Any tips?

Thanks in advance

Hi @GKHandmade,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Smart Tank 515 is producing poor print quality and printing slowly, there are several possible reasons why this may be happening. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Check the ink levels: Low ink levels can cause faded or streaky prints. Check the ink levels on your printer and replace any cartridges that are running low.
  • Clean the printhead: Over time, the printhead can become clogged with dried ink or debris, leading to poor print quality. Follow the instructions in your printer manual to clean the printhead.
  • Adjust print settings: If your prints are coming out too light or dark, try adjusting the print settings in your printer software. You can experiment with different settings such as color saturation, brightness, and contrast to improve the vibrancy of your prints.
  • Check the paper quality: The type and quality of paper you use can affect the print quality. Make sure you are using the correct type of paper for your printer and that it is not damaged or wrinkled.
  • Update printer drivers: Outdated printer drivers can cause issues with print quality and speed. Check for any available updates on the HP website and install them.
  • Consider a printer maintenance kit: If none of the above steps work, you may need to consider purchasing a printer maintenance kit. These kits contain tools and instructions for deep-cleaning the printhead and other components of your printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
