Unpacked and installed my DeskJet. Upon diagnostics it needs to run an alignment. Working with the Scan and Fix program, nothing happens when I press the clean heads or align heads buttons.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, This issue usually occurs when a cartridge is replaced or new cartridge installed, and the alignment process is not completed. Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved.
Reset the printer to recover from printer errors or failures:
-
If your printer has a rechargeable battery, remove it.
-
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
-
Unplug the power cord from the power source.
-
Wait 60 seconds.
-
Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
NOTE: HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet. -
Turn on the printer to complete the reset. If the issue persists, follow next steps.
Use this cleaning tool:
-
Control panel (printers with touchscreens only): From the Settings, Setup, or Tools menu, look for an option to clean the printheads or cartridges.
-
HP Smart app (Windows 10): In the app, click your printer, click Print Quality Tools, and then select the option to clean the printheads or cartridges.
-
HP Printer Assistant (Windows): Click Maintain Your Printer, and then select the option to clean the printheads or cartridges.
-
HP Utility (Mac): Click the option to clean the printheads or cartridges.
After the cleaning, evaluate the page that prints. You might need to clean the printheads or cartridges more than once.
And, also refer to the article: Fixing Poor Print Quality (refer step 12 and step 7 respectively) If alignment does not complete, follow this link - https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-deskjet-3630-all-in-one-printer-series/7172306/document/c004...
