I'm completely disappointed.  I bought this laser printer/scanner only 3 years ago, lightly used, and the connectivity with the scanner failed.  Then after following the instructions from the various HP support including the print & scan doctor, tech support agents, downloaded software to reinstall without uninstalling it (what?) and various apps, the problem became WORSE.  Now the entire printer is not communicating to the computer.  I then was so frustrated after wasting hours of my time, I agreed to pre pay for an expensive home visit that has not yet even been scheduled, they haven't called yet as I just prepaid.  I then went to the tech support chat to ask to cancel this and refund me, and then the agent just disappears.  I'm supposed to be reconnected, zilch.   Very disappointed with the whole process, with a product that didn't last long, and with lack of help.
