Wish I had same good fortune. I've gone back to v5.3.0 & still can not get it to work. It just regenerates itself in Diagnostics sub-folder.

I have the latest of all Win7 Sp1 stuff.

It will not run in any other Compatibility Mode either.

 

All other HP software runs well.

Try an older version than that..I'm pretty sure I used 5.1 and went right through easy peasey...🤞

Thank you for that suggestion.

 

I had to go back to  HP Print and Scan Doctor 4.9 at Filehippo.

 

Crazy stuff to say the least. 🙃
