I just bought a MacBook Air M2 with Sonoma 14.4.1 to replace my old iMac.
With this new MBP, I have lots of troubles with my HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M277dw. This was not the case with my old iMac.
It is impossible to scan, and printing is a nightmare (lots of timeout, printer on and reachable with ping, but not available for print, and so on).
I have installed the last drivers available and all HP softs, such as “Easy scan”, “Easy print” and all HP assistants, without success because many of HP applications crash during the installation and the others did not solve the issue.
I had long call with Apple’s support. They advised to call HP, who do not want to handle my issue.
Does someone have an idea to fix this issue and let me print and scan with my new MacBook with Sonoma installed?
Many thanks in advance

Hi @0rlan_do,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
Let's perform an NVRAM reset to restore the printer back to its original settings and see if that works.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

Hi Elohi_NR
Thank you for your suggestion. Resetting the printer didn't solve the problem. I'll probably buy a new printer, but not from HP who didn't even know how to pilot the switch to Apple M2. Disappointing.
Bye
