Hello.

I dont think i have saw any information on that, but it begins to look very weird.

Im a computer repairer. In less than 5 days, 3 customers came to see me, because of those reasons :

  1. 2 of them have that same problem. Both HP 8132e printer CAN'T print at all. I have tested on tree differents pc, and each time, the computer saw those printer. BUT, when you try to print with a USB connexion, the print doesn't start at all. The information is being send, but those printers doesn't react at all.
  2. I've got one today, it print well, BUT it doesn't scan and again, it's on a USB connexion.

Before you answer me, YES, i have installed all the latest drivers, i have deleted the printer on W11, reconnect it and i did a factory reset on those three.

Any answer to that ?

Thanks

And for precision :

- I did use HP Smart for diagnostic, and he tells me that all works.

- I did a factory reset on all the three printers

- I installed everything i could to make those works.

Hi  @VIM5

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand your concern with the HP OfficeJet Pro 8132e All-in-One Printer Setup , don’t worry let me check and help you with this.

To better understand the situation, could you kindly confirm the below details :

  • Are all three printers connected via USB only, or have you also tested them over a wireless connection?
  • Do the printers appear as "Ready" in Windows when connected via USB?
  • When a print job is sent, does it remain in the queue, disappear immediately, or show any error message?
  • For the unit that cannot scan, are you attempting to scan through HP Smart, Windows Scan, or another application?

In the meantime, I recommend trying the below steps and confirm :

  1. Disconnect the USB cable and restart both the printer and computer.
  2. Use a different USB cable and, if available, a different USB port directly on the PC.
  3. Run HP app
  4. Remove the printer completely from Windows and reinstall the latest full-feature software package from HP Support - https://support.hp.com/ .
  5. Verify that the Print Spooler service is running:
    • Press Windows + R
    • Type services.msc
    • Locate Print Spooler
    • Restart the service and test printing again.
  6. If possible, test the printer using a wireless connection to determine whether the behaviour is isolated to USB communications.

You may also find the following HP document helpful: HP Printers - Printer Does Not Respond or Print (Windows) - Click here

Based on your description,   The fact that one printer can print but not scan, while the other two are detected but do not react to print jobs, suggests that the core hardware may still be operational and that the communication path between Windows and the printer may need closer examination.

I hope this helps.
