Hello, My Mac OS 13.10.6 MacBook Pro for many months has lost the "Print Both Sides" option for my HP Officejet Pro 6978. I am using too much paper. Not sure why this option disappeared. Is there a fix?

Hi @DrT_ATL,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

Use the HP Smart app to print and check if that helps. Check the print settings and set it to Duplex printing.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

For more info on this issue, refer to - Print on both sides of the paper with an HP printer

Update the firmware. Click here

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
