Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The problem started with my Windows 10 computer seeing the printer offline.  I am connected wireless and have a static IP address assigned to the wireless port on the printer.  I can print from my android phone.  I can print a test page from the HP printer app on my Windows 10 computer.  After doing some initial trouble shooting and using the various Windows and HP troubleshooting tools to no avail, I decided to wipe the printer driver and software and do a reinstall.  Now when I go to the HP Website to download the printer drivers I get an error message, "We were unable to retrieve the list of drivers for your product. Please select the desired operating system and select “Update” to try again."  It is auto-detecting my OS and my correct operating system is selected.  When I try other operating systems just to see, I get the same message.  So it makes me feel like a problem with the web site.  I also get alot of dead links when searching for tech support information.

Hi,

The problem likely occurs due to a recent site upgrade, clearing your browser cache or using Incognito mode should list the drivers correctly.

You may also download the drivers using below direct link:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/OJ871/OJ8710_Full_WebPack_40.12.1161.exe

If the issue persists upon completing the software installation, try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Try printing and check for any change.

If the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy and check.
