Half Problem/ some Solution
I tried to connect the Printer to my Chromebook (that with other printers usually was a walk in the park); did not worked full automatic; you have to pick from a list, the closest was "HP Color LaserJet Multifunction M178-M181" when trying to print the printer blinks shortly but does not actually prints.
All advices for Chromebook were awfully general and without success.
In my desperation i tried : Generic --> Generic PCL 5e Printer : which was suprisingly a half success --> it now printed grayscale.
The "Generic Color PCL 6/PCL XL Printer" did unfortunately not work.
"Generic PostScript Printer" did not work; and "Generic PDF Printer" produced white pages with some weird overlapping ASCII signs in the first line-> so also fail.
After finding out that the printer is supposed to be a rebadged Samsung I tried a corresponding Samsung in the selection list; but there was none close enough to work.
Using HP Smart required Login and it does not even close has the same options --> no real solution
Than i tried plain USB cable --> Chromebook recognised device and did not gave possiblity for adaptation when trying to print something it took eternal and produced a similar effect as the "Generic PDF Printer" so also even worse.
In a final act of desperation i tried "HP Color Laserjet Pro Mfp M176N" which to my suprise and Joy suddenly worked, it produces colors, grayscale it i want to, the scale(size) seem to be correct. Unfortunately double sided is no option. And I am not sure if some incompatibility is lurking in the dark.
To be honest this whole ordeal is not even close to what I would have expected from a company of the size of HP; I was real pissed yesterday and i am still pissed because apparently this printer is not that rare and Chromebook (Linux for that part) is not that obscure either.
So I would be happy if measures on the device-specific page are taken to avoid the same problems i had. AND OR i would like to know whether the solution with the "HP Color Laserjet Pro Mfp M176N" has potential problems.
Best Regards (and expecting HP to do better in the future)

P.S.
If needed i did manage to extract the .PPD File that corresponds to "HP Color Laserjet Pro Mfp M176N" if needed.
