Print from photos are half size

Every picture printed direct from photos prints at half size.

The following is relevant to iOS in iPad Pro and might be similarly helpful for iOS - iPhone.

The controls for print size in HP Smart Mobile are somewhat limited.

That said,

If the paper size / type you are using will accommodate a larger size photo, you can adjust (resize) the size of the printed content.

There are a couple places to adjust the size of the printed image.

Example - HP Smart - Mobile - iOS - Crop

Select "Custom Size" and make sure the entire object is in the selection print area.

Note that Crop ensures your view of that object is correct for your purpose.

Resizing allows you to manually adjust the size of the image printed on the paper.

Reminders

• Resizing requires that the image fit on the paper you are using.
  
• If you need to adjust / select paper size / type, do so before opening the item to be printed in EWS > Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management

EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management

If applicable, check the Advanced section (at the bottom of the Tray and Paper Management menu)

Click Apply to save changes

Open HP Smart (for mobile)

Open Settings

Open Add / Set Up a Printer 

Scroll down, Click, Tray and Paper

As Available:  Check / Adjust settings in Advanced

Click Apply to save changes
