Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hello,

I'm fighting with the issue with HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130a printer. The problem is that when I'm putting something to the print queue, test page for example, Windows marks it as "Printed" but printer does not print anything.

Drivers were taken from different places: from the CD which came with printer, latest full driver from HP support site, latest basic driver from HP support site. The same result in all cases.

There is no unknown devices in Device manager (except smart card not related to printer).

I also tried full re-install of drivers several times (remove from "Devices and printers" --> remove driver with driver package from "Print server properties"  (printui.exe /s) --> reboot --> install again).

I'm only able to print configuration reports using HP device tollbox

All reports are saying that printer is OK, nevertheless it does not print anything except these reports.

In Windows Application Logs I've found only information event saying that there is "PnPDriverNotFound"

but in looking in the "Devices and Printers" everything is OK with this device

Scanner works fine.

The system is running on Windows Embedded Standard SP1 (actually the same as Windows 7) x32.

Maybe someone had such case or have some ideas how to fix this?

Hi @VitStef

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

Which application are you trying to print from?

Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.

Install the printer using Windows built-in driver

Refer to this document to know how. Try printing.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi Kumar0307

I'm trying to print from different aplications and different document types. The result is the same: print job appears in queue, then marks as "Printed" but printer does nothing.

Print and Scan doctor didn't help to resolve the issue.

@VitStef Here's what I recommend you do:

I recommend you delete the driver at the root level and retry, follow the steps below:

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

Then, Click here to access the HP website, find the drivers compatible with your windows and install it.

If the issue persists, please go ahead and install the windows built-in drivers:

If a full feature driver from HP is not available for your printer, you must install the built-in print driver. A full feature driver for one or more Windows versions is not available for your printer, either from the CD that shipped with your printer or from the HP website.

   NOTE:

Where is the download button? The HP print driver is built into the Windows operating system or is installed through the Windows Update feature on your computer. You do not need to download anything from a website in order to print, scan, or fax.

See the Frequently asked questions in this document for additional information, including how to scan using this driver.

(By the end of this article all the issues should be resolved)

Hello,

I have followed steps above but the result is the same unfortunaltely.

I'm going to try with fresh Windows Embedded install.

I have tried to setup printer on Windows 7 and there was no problems with queue.

HP Recommended

@VitStef, that's unfortunate. Before reinstalling the operating system, try installing the printer using TCP/IP port

1) Obtain the IP address of the printer by clicking on the wireless icon on the printer screen.
2) Right-click your printer, select Printer Properties, click the Ports tab and then click Add Port.
3) Select Standard TCP/IP Port, and then click New Port.
4) Follow the instructions to add a new port using the information listed on the Network Configuration Report.
5) Try printing.

If the issue persists, you may reinstall the OS as that is the last resort.

Keep me posted.

Hi,

There is no possibility to install printer using TCP/IP as the printer has only USB port.

Well, I've reinstalled OS (Windows Embedded Standard 7) and now the behavior is completely different.

Printer function works well, but it is not possible to install drivers for scanner.

I'm getting errors whenever i'm trying to install with HP installed or via Windows device manager.

I've tried to re-intall OS several times with all components, installed all updates and drivers for all other devices, but no luck with scanner.
I also tried to connect old printer HP M1132MFP and got the same issue with it's scanner.
Do you know if HP printers require some specific component to be installed?
