Photosmart D110
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

I have a word document (office 2010) created on a custom 3" x 5" index card that used to print up to 3/8" from the edge of the paper on my computer running Windows 8. I had to get a new computer because my motherboard died and now the document is cutting off at 5/8" from the edge. The document parameters were not changed and I have the same printer, so I'm not sure if this is a Windows 10 issue or a driver issue.  I have tried setting the documents margins to zero, and have checked if there were any settings I could change within the printer preferences but nothing has worked. My printer is connected via wifi, not hardwired, and I'm not sure if the driver automatically updated with the new computer or not. I'm not sure if my operating system is 32 or 64 bit. Please use laymans terms in any responses as I am only somewhat computer literate.

Hi @Dennym33,

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums for a solutiton to your print margin issue.

I understand that you are now using an HP Photosmart e-All-in-One Printer with a Windows 10 computer but when you try to print a word document that would print up to 3/8" from the paper edge from Windows 8 in Windows 10, the document is getting cut off at 5/8" from the paper edge. I would like to help with that.

This could be a software and driver issue.

I would start by downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor. This tool can diagnose and fix many printing and printer software issues.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Oh thank you, thank you, thank you, it worked! I was really depending on that extra 1/4" to print on! Much appreciated!:smileyhappy:
