Welcome to HP support community.

Yes, you can set the sleep mode.

To change the time to Sleep mode

1. Open the embedded web server (EWS).

To open the embedded web server through a network

  • From the printer control panel, press the Wireless button and the Information button together to print the network configuration page.
  • Find out the IP address or hostname of the printer from the network configuration page.
  • In a supported web browser on your computer, type the IP address or hostname assigned to the printer. For example, if the IP address is 192.168.0.12, type the following address into a Web browser: http:// 192.168.0.12.

2. Click the Settings tab.

3. In the Power Management section, click Energy Save Mode, and select the desired option.

4. Click Apply.

I hope that helps.

Perform a network reset on the printer to reset the EWS login password.

Here are the steps:-  Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.

Then connect the printer again to computer, with these steps:- Click here

I hope that helps.
