Printer 2632 (2600 series)

Hello,

I already prchased a DJ HP 2632 and need to use it on Windows XP, 

As there's NO CD for drivers in the box so I just founded driver for XP on internet, printer connects and works without any problem, main problem is with Scanner that not works at all! I installed HP Doctor and it says the problem is driver but I installed everything correctly! Scanner only works through online Scanner option and not with HP Scan software, Error is "Scanner Unreachable"!

How you say you still support Windows XP while there's NO driver for XP even on your website!?

This is not first time that I used HP products with XP but this Scanner started some problem this time, 

Please provide an solution and righ driver link if exist, I need to use my printer on Windows XP.

Note: On HP android app printer and scanner working well without any problem, the problem is just with XP!

Welcome to the HP Community

This printer does not have full-featured software for Windows XP, hence the scan feature is not working.

However, you can try using an alternate driver and check if it works.

Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-2050-all-in-one-printer-series-j510/4027... to download and install the alternate driver.

Try to scan.

Really it was a wonder answer from th HP!

And about the alternative driver, maybe you didn't mention that I asked for 2600 series (2632 model exactly), but you sent me 2050 model driver link, however, with respect to you, I tried for testing and I should tell you that after install this package, Windows couldn't recognize the printer at all even through the USB cable, so not works at all!

I expected from HP as a big and old company in this field to provide a good solution for this problem, Windows XP is old, OK, but there's a lot of companies and offices,... which using this OS yet! And as you wrote on your website "you still support XP" so I waitnig for a better and best solution to solve this big bug and problem.

Hi,

Please download and install below drivers:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/DJ2600/DJ2600_Full_WebPack_43.3.2478.exe

For a USB connection, be sure not to plug the USB till the installation ask to do so.

If you may already connected the USB already, delete any instance of your printer and reboot your PC prior to installing the printer software.

Although I have this file already! (I've been downloading and testing) but with respect to you, I did this test again and did not help me to solve the problem like before. (I'm not a newbie in using computers and HP printers also!)

It's definitely a problem with the driver provided for this series and product for Windows XP SINCE HP SAYS STILL SUPPORT XP!!! 

So, please help to solve this problem because we need this printer for printing from our important systems which are with XP windows.

Do you have Windows XP with Service Pack 3 installed? This is a minimum requirement for the drivers.

Right-click My Computer and select Properties to find out the installed service pack version.

What exact error message or behavior occurs when you are trying to install the printer? Please provide as mich detail as possible and attach a screenshot if possible.

As I told you I'm not a newbie in this field,

Windows XP is with Service Pack 4 installed (updated version - 2016)

There's no any problem to install driver, it done well, also printer works through the USB and WiFi, even the Scanner works through the USB and Webpage, but the main probelm is just with Scanner through WiFi, that not working, not via HP Scan software nor in Scanner icon in My computer,

Windows give this error when I run HP Scan:
