HP Smart print
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I had two HP Printers set up in my HP Smart Print APP.  I no longer have one of the HP 2700 printer but there appears to be no way to remove a printer from the app.  I have tried multiple times yet each time I open the app to scan, fax, or print from my HP8700 that I still have the app shows the HP2700 off line and I have to go to the second printer listed.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that the HP Smart app shows two printers, IA m glad to assist you.

You will have to delete the printer driver and reinstall the driver to fix the issue.

Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers. 
  • Restart the PC again.
