HI @Kevin_C63,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your work laptop doesn't have a USB cable connection, you have a few options to address this issue:

Wireless Connection: If your printer supports wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi), you can connect it to your work laptop via your Wi-Fi network. Check the printer's manual for instructions on how to set up wireless printing. Once connected, you should be able to print to the printer without needing a physical USB cable.

Ethernet Connection: Some printers support Ethernet connections, allowing you to connect them directly to your office network via an Ethernet cable. This can be an alternative to USB connectivity. Again, refer to your printer's manual for instructions on setting up an Ethernet connection.

Bluetooth: If your printer and laptop both support Bluetooth, you may be able to connect them wirelessly using Bluetooth. Check the user manual for your devices for instructions on how to set up a Bluetooth connection.

USB Docking Station or Hub: If your laptop has a USB-C or Thunderbolt port, but you're lacking standard USB ports, you can use a USB docking station or hub to add USB ports to your laptop. This will allow you to connect your printer via USB.

Adapter: If your laptop only has USB-C ports and your printer uses a standard USB-A connection, you can use a USB-C to USB-A adapter to connect the printer to your laptop.

Network Printing: If your printer is network-enabled, you might be able to set it up as a network printer. This means it would connect directly to your office network, and you can print to it over the network without needing a direct USB connection to your laptop.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
