Printer Driver Problem

Hi, I have a Mac desktop and an OfficeJet Pro 8620, both of which I've had for several years.

This morning when I started my Mac, I get a popup window that says:

“HPDM.framework” will damage your computer."   

Whenever I close the popup window, it reappears.

I called Apple support and they escalated the issue up two levels and concluded that this is an HP software issue that they cannot resolve.

Appreciate any advice.

The solution is to download (and install) this package which will update drivers AND THE CERTIFICATE:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-printer-essen...

It is NOT the same as the driver package, Easy Start, or Easy Admin other people are recommending.

If the link comes up blank, try right clicking and saving it. If you install this package and still have trouble, try uninstalling your printer and reinstalling by going through Apple Logo (Upper Left of Screen)/System Preferences/Printers & Scanners.

Easy Admin did nothing. Easy Startup did nothing. 5.1 drivers did nothing. This worked for me!

the scan didnt communicate withn the IMac

ant in the printer the opoup box still appear
