on03-10-2025 csbrusch suggested a solution for fixing the printer drivers for Mac OS 15.x using Terminal. https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Setup-Software-Drivers/P1102w-driver-for-Mac-os-15-1-1/td-p/92...

I have tried this solution repeatedly by the OS will not let Terminal open the PKG file. I have checked the locked status of the PKG file and have changed the read/write options to allow all users to edit the file. I have allowed Terminal to edit all files on my Mac.

Still no go.

Any ideas?

Come on HP. FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!!

Hi @Chuckaroo2

Maybe HP could not / don´t want to fix that driver because they dropped all software support for printers that are 10 years old.

Probably the best could be to try the steps from the user Tashman on Apple discusions.
