Hi, @FerRX solved a problem for me on 7-16-25.

I needed a driver for my retired Photosmart D110 printer, scanner, copier when i switched OS from Win10 to Win11.

Recently, I inadvertently let Norton Driver update mine and it reverted back to the old driver that only works with Win10.

I did not save the solution driver FerRX provided via the transfer drive, and i need it again. Would someone be able to reupload it and send me the link?

Please advise. Thank you.

Hi @Scott20301 , Happy New Year 2026 !

Of course, I am happy to help you to get that drive. 😇

Please try to install the next driver for your printer:

Note: remember that you can save that file to a USB drive or your own Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, so you can keep that file for printer install whenever you need.

Hi @FerRX,

THANK you for the prompt response and the driver.

I downloaded it successfully and saved it to my local drive for future use.

Then i double clicked it, it extracted, opened up a HP Support Center Home Dashboard/Window, exited that HP Center window, and tested the printer.

I had mixed results. My Word documents simply print a blank page. If i convert the document to a PDF, it will print.

NOT sure what the issue is. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

PS - When i installed the Driver you provided to my previous post (as Scott2030), it restored printing to my MS Word docs, etc. Not sure if the current driver is different or what's going on. 🙂

Hi @Scott20301

I don't know why this is happening 🤔.

  • Sometimes this could be related to printer drivers mixed in Windows system.

1. Open your Windows > Configuration or Settings and open Printers List.

2. Check if you have more than one copy of your Photosmart printer.

  • ferRX_1-1768558197503.png

3. if you have Copy 1, Copy2, then you may need to Delete all printers and just leave only one Photosmart printer.

4. Restart your computer and try again to print your Word document.

Hi @FerRX,

Thank you for the suggestions. I only have one printer device.  I retried printing the page, but had same result as yesterday. Maybe i'll remove the printer and then reinstall it, although I'm not sure i want to do that since HP no longer supports it because it's so old (hence driver problem), and i don't want to get into a black hole of reinstall time right now.

My only other thought was that maybe there was a different driver that is only for the Win11 OS?

The Win10 drivers don't work and the file name of the driver I downloaded and used refers to both Win10 and 11 (Photosmart_D110_win10_win11.exe).

If i remember correctly, the driver that worked from our July download was only for Win11.  Just a thought.

I'll let you know if I find another solution.   Thanks again,  Scott
