What is the difference between HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software and HP Universal Print Driver (UPD for PCL6)? Can HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software be used in managed (IT) business environments like the UPD for PCL6?

Hi,

HP Easy Start Setup Software provides full functionality as printing, scanning and faxing from a computer, depending on your printer capabilities.

 

HP UPD provides print functionality only.

 

HP Easy Start software might be used to be used in managed environment by packing an installation and distributing it using a command line interface, you may likely use below guidelines to customize and deploy the printer software:
