Product: HP LaserJet MFP M127fn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have just updated my LaserJet M127fn firmware from this tool:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/LES/M127/HP_LaserJet_M127-M128_FW_20190524.exe

The firmware version updated from 20150818 to 20160926. I expected it to update to 20190524, is 20160926 the newest version I can get on this printer?

Were did you get the link from? I do not see it listed at HP Support:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-mfp-m127-series/5396666/model/53034...

 

I do see this firmware version is intended for the M127fw model, not for the M127fn printer model, these are different printers:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-mfp-m127-series/5396666/model/53034...

 

Try checking for updates from the printer screen by clicking the Wrench button, navigate to Service and there select HP Laserjet Update and Check for Updates now.

 

If no further updates are listed, you do have the latest firmware for your printer model.

My firmware date use is 20160622

i wanted to check for an update so I went to the wrench, then service and I do not have any option to check for an update; does that mean I have the most recent firmware?

im trying to solve an issue with a connection error message I get when I go to the apps icon to try and print  certain quick forms.  Thanks for any help.   Trying to get an answer or someone to reply for over a week 😌
