Product: HP Deskjet 1051 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Today I was unable to clear the queue on my HP-1051 printer, and finally resorted to reinstalling the printer - to my HP Laptop 15db1 - using newly downloaded driver "Full_Webpack-1333-DJ1050_J410_Full_Webpack.exe".

 

The printer is plugged in, powered up and connected to my laptop via USB,  BUT the system does recognize that a printer is installed!

 

I have tried using HP Print & Scan Doctor to identify the problem, but it does not recognize that a printer is connected!

 

I just bought $50 worth of new ink cartridges, and now I cannot get the printer to work.

 

What am I doing wrong??
