Product: HP DESKJET 1050A All in one j410 series

Can anyone help me how to install my printer (HP DESKJET 1050A All in one j410 series) to macbook (with MacOS Big Sur Version 11.1)? I have tried many ways including by using HP Smart (using USB) but my printer cannot be found. I am trying to look for how to contact HP Support (human agent) but I was always directed to virtual agent (which did not help me to solve the issue). Thanks in advance

This has happened to me too. 

HP's drivers only go up to OS10 then they stop.

 

You may find that your OS11 will tell you to delete certain HP files as "they will damage your computer"

The printer isn't that old (6 yrs) but I still manage to get it to print OK, however the scanner section does not

work now.  

 

We can only wait and see if HP can be bothered to supply new drivers before we need to change the machines........

to Canon or Epson !?
