HP M607
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an ssue on one HP printer. We have a NAC with certificates checks, since two days the certificeate is not approved anymore and i cannot manage to install a valid one. I reseted the printer from the common menu, also resetted the counters etc but it didn't resolved my issue.  Firmware upgrade didn't work. Note the the network card is working because when I plugged the printer to an open port ,  it worked perfectly.

So I am now wondernig how to access the preboot menu. In the user manual (m607 - 608 - 609) it's shown to access it from the touch screen but the M607 has a buttons pannel!

How can I perform an NVRAM init? How can I access the preboot menu?

Thanks in advance for your Help.

Regards.

Turn printer ON, press the Cancel button when you see the 1/8 under the logo.

Thank you! With your advice I managed to access the preboot menu but the certificates won't go away...

Do you have a solution to reset that specifically?

FYI I had to test a few buttons, I didn't know which one was the cancel. (I tried the "C" first)

It's the cross ! (for potentail future people needing this info)
