Hello Paisp,
OK you tried the method provided by Sabertooth in the link presented in your query. Seems like a reasonable cause of the problem. So, I am no expert and am only guessing. 1st question, did this just crop up, and - if so, what happened to the environment. Can you think of anything that has changed in the problem computer (but not in the good one).
In what country was the 8500 printer purchased? Did you try that country's language when you went into Settings > Time&Language > Region&Language; and where you clicked on the box to select (what?). What exactly did you do, what language selected.
What is the language in the good computer?
The other PC - what same programs? Does it have the 8500 printer software? Is it also Win 10 and Word 2013; and have you done exactly the same procedures with good results. Is one Win 10 Home and the other Win 10 Pro.
Do you have the setup for the Word 2013 and could you reinstall it in the problem computer? Just a wild guess. KUDOS in prior threads for the HP EXPERT MODERATORS: Sabertooth and SandyTechy for their efforts.
You could google for MS Support Word 2013 prints wrong language. Here's one link (substitute https for XXXXX):
I am not an HP employee; just searching for answers, and hopefully possible solutions for queries. Good luck

Hello again Paisp,
I thought to google for changing language in Word 2013. Mine is Word 2010 and was found in Tools > Language > Set Language.
It appears to be the same for 2010, 2013 and 2016.
The country where purchased also could be a factor.

Hello Richant
- Settings> Time and language> Region and language, I had USA, UK and Portuguese languages to choose.
The default language was the UK and I tried to setup for the US, but the problem remained, as I said.
- focusing on one of the steps you wrote:
"You tried the language of this country when you typed Settings> Time and language> Region and language and where you clicked on the box to select (what?)."
I tried to choose the US language again but this time I chose the option button to download the US language pack and after setup the US language. The problem was solved. The first time I set the US language without downloading the package language.
Ressuming the good environement: I have 3 languages - UK, US (by default) and Portuguese.
- On PC that did not have this problem, I had 2 langauges - Portuguese (by default) and USA.
- I hope not induce an error in someone, but i'll back with some update after some tests, if possible .
Thanks a lot for you support

Hey Pedro,
So I suspected, the printer's languages (Portuguese) likely need to agree with whereever the printer is purchased and probably the Microsoft Software including the Word.
I am not an expert, so I don't know. I also enjoyed our discussions. I gave you a thumbs up (KUDOS) and clicking the thumbs up beside my messages is greatly appreciated. Best of luck in the future. Bye. (You communicate very well)
Rich
By the way, HP support can adjust the printers if there are problems with the country of origin. For example, the ink cartridges, sometimes don't work if purchased in a different country.
