I just set up my HP Envy Inspire 7200e all-in-one printer sent to me by HP for the all-in-one plan I signed up for the other day. Everything has gone ok except when I try to register it, it will not accept the serial number.
I have tried multiple ways to get it set up through the app on my phone and through the HP Support assistant on my computer (which is HP brand as well). On my computer it sees it but wont accept the serial number. On the app on my phone it says it was delivered and and need to finish setting it up. When I try to it can't find my printer.
Yes my printer is right by the modem/router. Yes I have unplugged it, restarted it, turn wi-fi on & off. I can print the information page from the printer itself. I also have been able to send it something to print wirelessly. I have even restarted my phone and computer to see if it would help.
I have no idea what else to do but call as I cannot get help as it won't recognize my serial number.

Looks like something is wrong with HP Registry system and is not working, then you may contact HP Support to help you with registration process.
