Operating System: macOS 26.0 Tahoe

I'm unable to add my printer to my HP support account. When I enter the serial number, it says it is not valid. I have entered it manually multiple times, re-checking it each time. I've also copy and pasted it from HP app.
The printer is also having a paper jam error, when there is no paper jam, and I'm trying to troubleshoot it on the HP Virtual Support. But I can't make progress there because it won't recognize my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus All-inOne printer.
