Bought a new Smart Tank 7605, and in order to complete the setup I had to install a firmware update. This was
over on hour ago, and the touch screen is still displaying the "Updating from software or embedd.." message. I am concerned that it has hung during the update as the text is no longer scrolling along the bottom of the touch screen
Thoughts / suggestions please./

Power Cycle the Printer: If waiting doesn't help, you can try a power cycle.
- Turn Off the Printer: Use the power button to turn off the printer.
- Unplug the Printer: Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the electrical outlet.
- Wait: Wait for about 1 minute before reconnecting the power cord.
- Turn On the Printer: Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.
Restart Firmware Update:
- Check for Interruptions: Ensure there are no interruptions (such as power cuts or network issues) that might have caused the update to hang.
- Redownload Firmware: If the firmware has been interrupted, you may need to restart the firmware update process from the beginning. Ensure that you are using the latest firmware version available on the HP Support site.
Using HP Support Assistant:
- Check for Updates:
- Use the HP Support Assistant to check for any pending updates or issues.
- Update Firmware: Follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware using HP Support Assistant.
