I live in Switzerland. When I select Switzerland as a country on page Printer Information in HP Smart, I see: "HP Smart was unable to set in your printer/country setting". When I select Germany, I got "Printer Setup Incomplete" and the printer doesn't print.
What should I do?

Hi @OM1970,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP LaserJet MFP M140we Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle
Uninstall HP Smart:
- Disconnect the USB cable from the printer, if necessary.
- Click Finder
in the Dock.
- In the menu bar, click Go, click Applications, and then open the HP Smart APP.
- Click and drag the HP Smart to the Trash icon in the Dock.
- Right-click or Ctrl + click the Trash icon, and then select Empty Trash.
- Prepare the printer for the driver installation. Make sure it is turned on, cartridges are installed, and plain paper is loaded in the main tray.
Update the printer firmware & macOS
