Dear HP Support Team,

I own an HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer and I would like to use it with my Apple Mac mini.
Unfortunately, I could not find the macOS driver for this model on your official website.

Could you please provide me with:
1. The official macOS driver (compatible with the latest macOS versions), or
2. A direct download link for HP Easy Start that works with my printer model.

My details:
- Printer Model: HP LaserJet Pro P1102w
- Serial Number: Edited
- macOS Version: macOS Sequoia 15.6
- Connection type: USB

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Atilasabokpa

Hi @atilasabokpa,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Setting Up HP LaserJet Pro P1102w with macOS!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

For setting up your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer with a Mac running the latest macOS, you can use HP Easy Start, a utility that simplifies the installation process and ensures you have the latest drivers and software.

Steps to Set Up Your Printer:

Download HP Easy Start:

  • Visit 123.hp.com.
  • Enter your printer model number (HP LaserJet Pro P1102w).
  • Click "Install HP Easy Start" to download the utility.

Install the Software:

  • Launch HP Easy Start and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • The utility will automatically detect your printer model and install the necessary software and drivers.
  • Ensure both "Essential Software" and "HP Easy Scan" (if available) are selected for full scanning features.

Add Your Printer:

  • After installation, go to the "Printers & Scanners" menu in your System Preferences.
  • Click the "Plus" button to add your HP printer.
  • Select your printer from the list and add it to your printer queue.

With these steps, your printer should be ready for use with your Mac. If HP Easy Start does not list your printer, you can check Apple Software Update for the built-in driver compatibility.

Important Notes:

  • If you are unable to find the required drivers through HP Easy Start, you can also use Apple Software Update to access the drivers directly integrated with macOS.
  • Ensure your printer is turned on and connected to the same network as your Mac during the setup.

I hope this helps.
