Product: DESKJET 6940
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ever since my original HP utility stopped working when I upgraded to WIndows-10, the HP web site side to use the Print and Scan Doctor.  When this software can see my USB connected printer, there are no utility functions such as Show Ink Levels, Clean printheads, etc. Also recommended was the HP SMART software.  While this software can see my printer, is will not connect to it.  I've tried all the suggested "fixes"such as powering off/ob the printer, plugging the printer into a different USB port, rebooting the PC and even reinstalling the HP software. Nothing works.  SUGGESTIONS ??  Or are there other ulities I can use?  Thanks !

Hi,

Only a Basic Bult-In driver is available for Windows 10 for your printer, Estimated Ink Levels and tasks provided by the HP Toolbox are not available for your printer on Windows 10.
