I have downloaded the Printer and Scan Doctor install file HPPSdr a number of times but each one fails with "file is corrupt" message when I try to run it.

Thanks to Raghukul who assisted me via Whatsapp I was directed to the correct site from which to download the latest version of the Printer and Scan Doctor.

@Dragon-Fur

Product / Model:  HP DeskJet 2700 Series

Operating System:  Windows 10 X64 Pro

Software / Application:  HP Printer and Scan Doctor

Connection Type:  WiFi

I am not a dummy.

When I download an installer from a product support site I expect it to work, not deliver a message about a corrupt file.

I have tried three different browsers and two other Windows PCs.

That said, I will uninstall and re-install the printer and its software when I have the time.

Thank you for your input.

@HairyScot

 You are welcome.

Got it.

Previous post removed.

Unfortunate that my wording might have given you the wrong impression.

Good Luck.

Sorry, so what's the fix? HPPSdr.exe is corrupt is correct. So what's the solution, completely uninstall the printer and then re-install it from scratch? HPPSdr.exe is the Scan and Print doctor and not the driver itself. Very odd.

So far there does not seem to be a solution.

On running the appI get this:-This is what comes up when running the app.This is what comes up when running the app.

On clicking "download update" I get this:-

This is what comes up when clicking "download update"This is what comes up when clicking "download update"

I have searched all of HP and can find nothing that helps.

I have the same issue. I cannot find the printer wirelessly using the HP smart app. However I can find and print wirelessly when I add it via windows add a printer (available when printing a word document). I can't scan to computer and trying to download this tool to fix it gives me the same error message.
