I have a MacBook Air M4 laptop and I want to print through an HP Deskjet 2332 scanner/printer. Normal method of installing the printer has not worked. I think the problem is that the computer is factory set to connect to a printer wirelessly, whereas the printer is not wireless. How do I change the computer setting so that it sends print data through wire and not wirelessly?

Resetting the preferences on the computer has not helped.  It is a strange problem. The printer worked fine with my older computer (MacBook Pro Catalina) and the computer works well with other printers. That is why I suspect the problem to be miscommunication because of wired / wireless.

Please try to install with the next steps:
